The story seems minimal: it takes place in a town and the situations are lived by a group of adolescents who have witnessed a brutal event that disturbs and threatens them. An unleashing with something police leads to the outcome; there is punishment for the culprit and the adolescents stay, perhaps transformed, but with their affections intact and their projects spoken in chorus with the crickets of the town night.
